Health Benefits of Blond psyllium

Blond psyllium can be used as a herbal remedy to soften stool. People who suffer from hemorrhoids, diarrhea, IBS, dysentery, ulcerative colitis, and anal fissures often find this herb of some use as a natural laxative. Some also claim that the herb may be used as a natural cure to fight against things like high cholesterol, diabetes, obesity (potentially used as a weight loss supplement), high blood pressure, renal disease, and maybe even some forms of cancer.

Still others say that the herb may be used topically as a poultice which may be of some use for boils. Though its usefulness in reducing cholesterol as a home remedy has been documented to some degree, there seems to be very little to no proof of its efficacy against heart disease. Blond psyllium is used in a variety of different dietary supplements as well and can sometimes be seen in cereals, breads and snack bars.
