Fish oil (omega-3 fatty acids) is a type of oil that can only be found from certain types of fish and it can only be obtained by the consumption of such a fish or by consuming a supplement that contains fish oil. Fish oil is a popular supplement because they are high in omega-3 fatty acids eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) as well as in docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Omega-3 fatty acids in fish oil are said to be an excellent natural anti-inflammatory as well as have other health benefits.
